Racing Club Warwick continued their delightful form with a convincing win over Littleton. With suspensions for Smith, Vadasz and Dowling in force Racing's strength in depth was proven once more. A devastating first 20 minutes English narrowly volleyed wide after Malley supplied a run and cross and the striker was foiled twice by outstanding saves from the Littleton stopper when put through on goal. Buswell blocked bravely to prevent a Littleton attack and 0-0 at halftime was frsutrating for Warwick. Second half saw much of the same and Malley came close after beating the last man but again the keeper did well but on 50 minutes Malley finally opened the scoring. English chested and flicked the ball over the defender and cut back smartly for Malley to fire home. It was mostly Racing now and Malley came close again firing just wide before he got an outstanding second. Starting out wide right, a fantastic turn of pace and strength saw him go past the full back before cutting back from the by line and past another defender, feinting to shoot before firing cooly past the keeper. Racing play the bottom two clubs away on Tuesday and Saturday before facing a crunch game away versus Copeswood on Bank Holiday Monday, as both clubs look for that coverted 10th place and FA Cup qualification.
